The objective of the PCOR Partnership and University of Houston Center for Carbon Management in Energy (CCME) cohosted CCUS Technical Forum is for industry experts from PCOR member organizations and CCME to share
experiences from real-world carbon research and commercialization activities. We envision the forum to cover technical content spanning several pertinent topic areas

and be more interactive than the webinar series.

 The CCUS Technical Forum will feature presentations from Chuck McConnell, CCME executive director, on the pivotal moment for EOR and CCUS and from the EERC on cracking the code for CO2 EOR in unconventionals. Other exciting agenda topics include the latest advancements in R&D for next-generation monitoring technologies; a regulatory session addressing aquifer exemptions, 45Q tax credit reporting, and permitting; buffer storage and CO2 EOR; the relevance of temperature modeling; geomechanics fault-slip analysis and induced seismicity risk assessment.
